This retreat is extraordinary because we will be starting on the volcanic Island of Madeira. Madiera is a Portuguese island off the coast of Africa and is known as the "Hawaii" of Europe. Its unique location creates a diverse vegetation, culture and cuisine. Here we will stay at a luxurious hotel atop a cliff overlooking the Atlantic. For 4 days we will travel around the island taking in all of the sights, peaks and swims. 

​We will then fly to mainland Portugal where we will stay 45 min north of Lisbon in the town of Ericeira along the Portuguese Riviera.  Here, guests will have the opportunity to take surf lessons as well as day trip to Lisbon, Sintra and surrounding areas. The trip has been designed to get a taste of both the mainland of Portugal and Europes up and coming destination of Madeira. The journey ends near Lisbon, making it easy to travel onto another destination or fly back home.

There will be daily yoga. Somedays will have one practice a day but most will have two, a morning and an evening. This trip is for friends who can learn to go with the flow, which means sometimes we have to let go to actually enter that flow.  While we travel by group, we encourage alone time. Yoga retreats are the perfect balance of having a built in social network and all of the opportunity for solo space. The combination of daily asana opens our mind and hearts to the experience with extreme brightness. Over the course of the retreat we truly become a family, creating new friendships, memories and fun. I hope you say yes and come along!
